I just got in touch with my sister, who told me that she’s pregnant, due in August! She had this conversation with my mother about seeing the little blob:

Sister: So I got a sonogram, and we saw the little peanut.
Mother: So it’s a boy?
Sister: Peanut, mom.

Congratulations! I've enjoyed being an uncle. I'd probably like it more if I were in the same city as my nieces/nephews, but there you have it. Great excuse to buy lots of toys and comic books and things like that. Wait...
