Didn’t quite manage to dodge the cold. Briefly went into snot machine mode last night; have a bit of a cough today. Still, not too bad, no headaches, no serious congestion.

  • Weight: 277
  • Dumbbell squats: 1 set of 15 with 15-lb weights, 2 sets of 15 with 18-lb weights.
  • Dumbbell straight-leg deadlifts: 3 sets of 15 with 21-lb weights.
  • Single-legged calf raises: 2 sets of 20 with 9-lb weight.
  • Ab crunches: 2 sets of 20 Hot Point style, 1 set of 20 penguins.

Odd thought during ab crunches: Is that my stomach rumbling ’cause I haven’t had breakfast yet, or pigeons cooing? We get lots of pigeons.

I think I’ve figured out something that was puzzling me about my taxes; I’ll call Chris tonight to double-check.

Special heads-up for MacOS X users: The latest Safari public beta rocks! Even if you’ve been using the secret release with tabs, this is an improvement. You can set it up so that new tabs open behind the current tab.

I'm pretty sure you've been able to open new tabs behind the current one in all the releases that had tabs at all. What it still doesn't have, and really needs, is a setting to make it open a new page called by an external application in a new tab.

I discover elsewhere that if you have tabs enabled and turn on the preferences item "Open Links From Other Applications: In Current Window" it actually does open them in a new tab.
