Heavyhands, week 3, day 2
May. 15th, 2003 01:42 pm- Weight: 272.5
- Walked for 31 minutes, doing four sets of flyes, lifts, and overheads, 35 reps per set, with 1-lb weights. Exercises still feel difficult.
- Heartrate stayed in 140s most of the time, sometimes up into 150s. Monitor mostly behaved itself.
I’ve just been all exercise reports recently, haven’t I? Sorry about that. Mostly whatever else I’ve got going on is internal, just thinking and concluding, generally about things I can’t share, or that aren’t interesting.
I decided a few days ago that if I hadn’t hit 270 pounds by the end of the month I’d go on Atkins. That gives me 16 days to lose 2.5 pounds — shouldn’t be a problem if I keep working out and watching what I eat. Then comes the real challenge — getting to 260 by the end of June.
After that we find out if I can keep this up in the summer heat.
