Note for tomorrow’s upper-body workout: For back routines, switch to Pulldowns (Wide-Grip and Reverse-Grip). Should be faster, and eliminate the awkwardness of the DB Pullovers. Start with 30 lbs progress up in usual fashion.

Gigantic

Last night [livejournal.com profile] bugsybanana and I celebrated her birthday by seeing Gigantic: A Tale of Two Johns, the documentary about archetypal nerd-rock band They Might Be Giants. You must see this if you’re a TMBG fan. (Though, um, I think tonight’s the last night it’s showing in NYC.) It’s hilarious. I think my favorite of the interviewees was fellow musician Syd Straw, who was so funny that I’ve made a note to pick up one of her CDs next time I’ve got spare cash.
