Why I should have paid more attention in Spanish class

Went out to see Patrick’s band, Whisperado, perform out in Alphabet City, and meet Jim Henley and the Talking Dog. Had a fine ol’ time, though the volume was set much higher than the room needed. The lot of us headed out to the 2nd Ave Deli after.

It was a bigger lot than expected ’cause the whole houseful of folks (ladymondegreen, akawil, cadhla, and Mark) followed me out. Cadhla and LadyM had gotten all gussied up, enough so that a Spanish-speaking man asked me how much for the two of them, or just the blonde. Or so Cadhla translated for me after we’d gone well past them. Shame, I could’ve used the money.
