Weight: 261.5
Stayed in 40s, up into mid-60s for 9-peaks, 70s for level 10. Resistance pattern: 6-11-16-16. (1 for first two minutes, last minute). Heart rate got as high as 183.

Startling to see that weight pop back. I suppose it could be upper-body musculature, but more likely it’s yesterday’s udon, or the extra half-wrap I had later on. Or the second helping of pistachio nuts late last night. OK, I see a problem here. Guess it’s back to chicken and spinach pie for lunch. (The deli next to my office makes amazing chicken.)

I did BFL last summer and my weight jumped up by 2-3 pounds a couple of days after I started. It was too soon to be increased muscle mass, but I read that it has something to do with glycogen depletion causing the muscles to retain water. I ate as much as I wanted during BFL because I had never worked my body that hard before in my life & I wanted to give it as much fuel as it needed.
